About this game
Each new face comes with a first name and one short fact. You pick a word that fits them, then the face comes back after 1 other face, then 3, then 6, and you name them. Quizzing yourself on a growing schedule, and linking a name to something meaningful, are the two methods with the best support in the name-memory research we read.
Stuck? Hints go from the first letter, to a sound-alike, to their fact. A name you miss comes back sooner. Points: 3 with no hint, 2 after one hint, 1 after more, plus a bonus for a no-hint answer at the longest gap.
The faces are original illustrations drawn by LiveToDream, not photos of real people. Your answers stay in this browser tab; nothing is sent anywhere.
Based on methods from published research (see Memory Tips & Tricks). This game itself has not been studied. More games in Play.
